hey colors - what fun
ok let's see spring break last week
we were going to go to the zoo but when we saw the line  to park we changed our minds & went shopping instead.

We went to Whole Food, Centeral Market & Sam's club

I really love Centeral Market - everything there looks great & fresh - Ican usually find anything I want.

I left my camera in Austin so no pics until I get it back - I do have a few to post that I downloaded before going - hopefully I'll get my canera back soon.

I finished the dresses & capri pants & hats that I was working on - got rid of them.

I"m starting back on execrising again - http://www.freetrainers.com - I'm trying a program from them instead of thinking up my own.  Also dieting starts today which reminds me - it is lunch time

I threw away all of the leftover halloween candy.  That has been hurting my diet.  I picked up a mix for making shakes.  I'm going to mess with some Atkins mix that I got later.  I hope that stuff taste good.

Otherwise I'm been a bum - yesterday I played games at msn's zone.  I like that new number game where you put numbers in the boxes but you can't repeat a number in its' square or in the line(up or down & across) in the big box.  First time it took me almost 42 minutes - second time 17 - they should have a new one today but I have to clean the house then I can play

So what do you think of my buddy??  I thought he was cute.

my wieght today is 131 - Monday it was 134 - I'm doing the Atkins diet

plus I'm walking around a park during school hours 3 or 4 laps with each lap being 7/10ths of a mile. 

I have switch over to the diet cokes with splendia - that seems to help the other diet drinks made me very hungry. 

tonight boys have a skating party so keeping away from the carbs there is going to be hard.  It is with my church & they understand my boys pretty good.  I just hope the rink doesn't turn on the strobe(sp?) light

I think my hair is finally getting long

it is kinda neat to see how many people read this & don't comment (at least the other 2 have had people reading).  Saturday I was reminded that there a baby shower on Sunday so I spent the day sewing a couple of light baby wraps with matching diaper shirts & booties - why are baby things so much fun to make??  sorry I didn't take a pic of them but I thought they turned out cute.

Sunday I think I spent 4 hours rewinding VCR tapes - I'm so happy to be getting DVD's just so I don't have to rewind them.  If only boys wouldn't put fingerprints on them. 

Today I just cleaned the house & did laundry - like 8 loads of laundry yuky but hey it is done.

I also decided to get back on the Aktins diet - it worked for me before.  I have been holding at 135 without trying to do anything but my walks on the school day mornings.  I also want to start lifting wieghts & going heavy(for me) on them.  I think it will help to build up my muscle before I get too old

I"m in Central Texas so "Rita" isn't coming over me - I might get rain(which my garden really needs).  The wind has picked up here but otherwise nothing yet - I hate waiting - I really hate it

all of the hotels here are full.  a place 20 miles as the crow flies has a hospital that closed down that is now open & full of people from the coast.  I know one store here is out of gas - I haven't heard about others - I'm staying home

I did finish another afgan - I think James is going to take it - it was suppose to be a present for a couple in upstate New York but since the guy moved up there I don't hear from him anymore so I have no addy to send it (with the white part I'm sure James will get it stain before long)

My good sewing machine is still in the shop.  It has been there for over a month - it just needs a belt & the parts people keep sending the wrong part.  It is a Kenmore so it is a special belt & I learned to sew on the machine - it is at least 25 years old - I don't recomment buying anything from sears anymore.

I did get some new patterns - McCall's since hancock's had them on sale for 99 cents each (limit 5) #4125, 4090,4107, M4696, M4864
All but the first one is Renaissance costumes - the first one is doll accessories
I love making costumes - Iwish I could go places where you can dress up more often

I just saw this & thought I would check it out

if I get any replies I may start posting here instead of live journel - I don't seem to remember to update that anyways
